Timaya reveals why he doesn’t marry and build a family

Inetimi Alfred Odon, popularly known in music as Timaya, has confirmed that he doesn't want to build a family like other men. He testifies that his 4 children are enough for him and that he doesn't want a woman who can make him crazy.

Timaya, who is popular in Nigeria and abroad, and Rwandan artists who have collaborated with him on a song like Urban Boyz, who collaborated with him on a song called 'Show Me Love,' had an interview with Naija FM and told people that they shouldn't put pressure on him to start a family because it’s not his priority and even in the years to come.

He made that decision because he wanted peace, quietness, and enjoy as well what he did.

“It's not my priority, I don't even plan on it!  I feel that if I marry a woman today and she makes me mad, I will destroy the marriage. I think that person would give me sleepless nights,” he denounced.

“I refuse to get married because I don’t want to be stressed. I don't want to hear people asking why I don't want to, if you have a problem, come and talk to me," he revealed.

He went on to say that he was blessed to have four children from three wives.

“I am proud to be a man with 4 children, all living with their mothers. When I miss them, I tell their mothers to bring them to me and spend with them two or three months," he added.

Timaya said he has no problem with those children and their mothers because they share the responsibility of raising them.

Humble Jizzo from Urban Boyz once said that when they went to Nigeria to work on a song with Timaya [in 2014], they found Timaya with girls;  one touches his beard and the other touches his body parts…! They recorded a song while he was enjoying a good time with those girls.  He noticed that he was very popular with girls.

Those guys; Safi, Nizzo Kaboss, and Humble Jizzo, who had met in Urban Boyz, said that when they returned to Kigali they would try and taste it!
