It’s more than slavery! Rudeboy advises tenants
Nigerian artist, Rudeboy said that it is difficult to get ahead when you are renting a house, he advises them to buy or even build.
Paul Okoye popularly known as Rudeboy but also famous for the P-Square group says that renting is more than slavery which does not make a person prosperous, the best thing is to own a house.
The popular Rudeboy in his song 'Vitamin D' suggested that renting is holding a person back, he is putting it down to slavery.
“Rent is far more than slavery. It's hard to grow when you have to pay the rent every month,” he said.
He continued to advise renters to work hard and own their homes, freeing up their monthly mortgage payments.
"Regardless of what you do, try to work hard and get your house, it may be small, but it's yours without anyone asking you to pay it every month. That will make you progress because what you give him or her will be used for other activities that will improve you,” he unveiled.
According to reports from Nigeria, Rudeboy is worth more than 16 million US dollars ($16 million). He has various buildings in parts of Nigeria and his favorite residence is in the United States of America, in Atlanta, Georgia.
This is where his wife Ivy Ifeoma recently gave birth to their first child, Imani Ugomma Okoye.
He advises people to own their homes, as these days many people choose to rent rather than buy or even build their own homes. There is also the option of buying an expensive car without even buying a building site.
