Why Big Fizzo names his album "777"

Mugani Desire who is well-known as Big Fizzo or Big Farious, and is preparing to release his fifth album, "777," including the song "Umudodo" featuring Harmonize. He calls it that name because the number seven returned on his birthday.

In an interview with Igisubizo.com, he has revealed that his album was named "777" because the number seven is the number he really respects and the date of his birth.

"I paid much attention to this coming album. I've been analyzing it very single and matching my background and history. I was born on 25th July 1978 in Bwiza, Bujumbura. This date has a uniqueness of 7. Here's how to get 7: date 25, add 2 to 5, and you see 7. The month is July (7). In 1978, the number 78; add 7 to 8 and you get 25. Once you've got 25, take 2 add 5, and you see 7. That's why I entitled it 777."

"I'm thinking about the number seven because it's several chances for me. It's also my story."

The album consists of 14 songs, including Superman, Maria, and Baridi. It has the song ‘Umudodo’ featuring Harmonize or Konde Boy and another song called "Niwe Nshaka" featuring Melanin Boy.

He adds that his fifth album ‘777’ explains a lot about his music career. He started his music career in the band "Nigga Soul" and in 2001 he started working on his own. He released his first album in 2009, entitled "Jewe." The second one was called "Fizzology" and was released in 2017. The third and fourth albums were released in 2020, one called "Desideratus" and another “Legendary.”

Big Fizzo is one of Burundi's most successful artists, and in 2017 he founded a studio called "Bantu Bwoy." It's a music house that has raised musicians including Kirikou Akili, Double Jay (Bilimani Boy), and Drama T.
