The Ben denies the claim! Reactions of social media users over The Ben’s forgiveness to Fatakumavuta

Mugisha Benjamin known as The Ben is among the people who decided to take a journalist and vlogger Fatakumavuta to court and there is a pending trial due to multiple charges concerning drug abuse, defamation, and false information. But 'Plenty' hitmaker denies it.

On the trial day of 5th November at The Kicukiro Primary Court in Kicukiro, Sengabo Jean Bosco well-known as Fatakumavuta revealed all people who made him arrested and highly charged with defamation. He announced those people who are against him; The Ben, music promoter Alex Muyoboke, and Bahati Makaca.

The vlogger returned to the court on 6th November and ordered a 30-day in jail as the investigation is done day to day.

The Ben went to his Instagram account and denied his part in Fatakumavuta’s arrest but gave his forgiveness to the journalist and vlogger.

“I choose love, I choose forgiveness. Though words wounded deep, I pray that you find redemption and peace,” he denounced.

“May justice reign, but mercy too… Recognizing that we all can stumble and renew. Fata, I pray for your swift release and hope that love will guide your future’s peace.  To me, love will always conquer hate. Light will always conquer darkness, may justice and mercy meet… Guiding you toward redemption and peace,” he revealed.

Many social media users reacted differently to the post but some showed some love to the singer.

One of them, Romeo Ntwari, said, “If that is so, please remove your charges over him, make him released, and  you may think about his family.” On that comment, Ben said, “I did not take him to the court.”

Additional comments praise The Ben and show some love to the ‘Ni Forever’ hitmaker.

Moreover, The Ben wrote a letter containing forgiveness towards Fatakumavuta and took it to Kicukiro Primary Court.
